Developed collaboratively across Danish universities and anchored at the University of Copenhagen, the summer school brings together top researchers and PhD students for an intensive two‑week exploration of how data-driven innovation is transforming healthcare. Building on Denmark’s globally unique health data infrastructure and strong culture of trust, the summer school showcases the country’s strengths as a leading life science nation.
Participants will engage with cross-disciplinary experts, advanced research environments, and real-world applications of AI and health data — all while contributing to the development of Denmark’s next generation of life science excellence.
With longer excursions to various Danish universities
We aim for a course that corresponds approximately with 5 ECTS
With backgrounds in computer science, machine learning, bioinformatics, biostatistics, epidemiology, neuroscience, or related quantitative fields in life sciences. The summer school will enroll a maximum of 60 students.

The AI in Life Science Summer School is funded by
